Mars Flight Globe V4
Measured Mars terrain, streamed close-detail LOD, and a flyable terraforming simulation.
Click the view to capture the mouse. Mouse looks. W/S move forward and back, A/D strafe, R/F move radially, Q/E roll, Shift boosts, wheel changes speed, G levels to the local horizon, T toggles auto-forward, Esc releases the mouse.
The progress control raises a spherical sea through the measured lowlands, thickens and cools the atmosphere, generates moving cloud decks, establishes polar ice, recolours suitable land, and streams deterministic vegetation near the camera. It is a game simulation rather than a scientific climate forecast.
Small stable geographic chunks stream around the camera. Coarse rings cover hundreds of kilometres, while the closest ring reaches 25-metre cells. Terrain, vegetation, rocks, coastlines and collision remain fixed at the same planetary coordinates.
